Entrepreneurship is no longer a dirty word in China. Select businessmen, and a handful of women are now held up as powerful icons.
In China’s major cities these days, highway billboards featuring real estate and tech moguls who emerged from poverty have replaced many of the massive tributes to Chairman Mao and heroic workers.
Filmmaker Ole Schell traveled to the city of Weifang in Shandong province, to profile an up-and-coming lingerie baron and a member of a new generation of high-profile Chinese entrepreneurs.

Wonderful interview....PRI's "The World" is one of my favorite NPR program. And needless to say, Marco is one of the best to interview guests...
It would be nice to have Bob and Ole on the making of WIC as well as follow up with how China is going to develop fast on the economic front. Marco and her other co-anchor Lisa Mullins are perhaps the best when it comes to covering the international economic/life style issues.!
