At the invitation of Speaker Newt Gingrich, I had the opportunity to speak at a breakout session at the Republican National Convention called "Time to Choose - Children or the Bureaucracy" co-hosted by Speaker Gingrich and Rev Sharpton.
With about 500 delegates and media in attendance, each of the speakers, including Minnesota Governor Pawlenty (not pictured), spoke about the urgent need to bring education in America up to world standards.

Speaker Gingrich's comments early in his speech - "Bob Compton may have found the vehicle in his film Two Million Minutes to really create a national dialog at a new level."
