Friedman is often wrong on foreign affairs, but here he is spot on. Alas, I am afraid that his and Bob Compton's voices aren't loud enough, plus the legislative dysfunction here in the states is just stunning. And I know what dysfunction is: I lived in the Soviet Union during its most haplessness years.
