One of my hobbies in my k-12 as well as college was competing in Chess tournaments. Anand's matches were sometimes televised on a big screen. Every Sunday, one of the leading newspapers - The Indian Express - used to publish a Chess board situation of a match, perhaps 75% through, and would let the readers play the match from that point forward. My two brothers and I were very religious about making time to play this game. Quite similar to crossword puzzles.
