I attempted to comment on Debbie Viadero's recent post on EdWeek.org's blog. I received the following message:
Does anyone know the policy on how much one is allowed to comment on Education Week blogs?
I've never encountered a Limited Reply blog before. I guess this may be a "teachable moment" for me.
Ironically, here was what I tried to post:
Debbie:
If parents have freedom of choice, poor performing schools - charter or government-run - will ultimately lose all their students and fail.
Give mothers and fathers choices for their child's education - I have faith in a parent's love - and the weak schools will be abandoned.
Who is more trustworthy - a government monopoly or "we the people?"
